I shot another screen-printing process video, this time with T-shirts. I designed these for a few friends, they turned out great so I thought I’d share. The only real difference printing on clothing versus paper is the ink can be flash cured with a heat source in order to add a second color or in this case two layers of white. The flasher is off camera but it’s basically just a heating element suspended over one of the pallets. After the print is finished it is put through a dryer to fully cure the ink. As for the design I hand drew the various elements, scanned them, converted and then assembled them in Illustrator.
